I have been going to Dr. J. Northrup for several years. You arrive, you sign in and next, you're in an examination room immediately with a nurse doing a pre-examination, with Dr. Northrup viewing, via computer screen, what she is recording; then he appears in the examination room, knowing exactly what to say, or ask while examining my feet and toes. I am truly amazed at the speed of my appointment time. Approximately 15 to 20 TOTAL MINUTES LATER, you're on your way out the door. After the doctor is finished and I'm on my way to the nurse's station, for my next future appointment, Dr.Northrup is back in his office and I'm assuming that he's viewing his nurse's notes on the next patient. I would hope that all Medical office managers would go through the process of an expedient doctors appointment, as I do.

I brought my elderly father to Superior Foot, Ankle & Wound Care based on a referral from his PCP. Dr. Northrup and his team were kind, patient, helpful, and thorough with his foot care which has been an ongoing thing (every one to two-week follow-up appointments) for the last 8 weeks. Dr. Northrup is amazing! I suffered from Plantar Fasciatis for four months! Every step was painful! I went to Dr. Northrup and one treatment and a Rx for Anti-inflammatories and I was able to start exercising again after a few days. The office staff is very friendly and professional. The wait is not long either. I recommend him and his office staff highly! You won’t be disappointed!

Everyone at the office has always been so nice. Dr. Northrup seemed very knowledgeable of facts he presented to me. He always followed up his opinion with either an X-Ray or MRI to confirm his opinion. He was right on target each time. He has helped me tremendously and has left my final decision for me to make. I highly recommend Dr. John Northrup at Superior Foot, Ankle & Wound Care. Very knowledgeable and caring. I had a full-blown Achilles tendon tear. He identified the injury very quickly. His wonderful staff had me scheduled for surgery. Now this being my first time injuring myself in my 42 years. I was a little hesitant about being put under on anesthesia. Dr. John made me feel very comfortable and explain the process. I had my procedure done and he was right. It wasn't bad at all. I just want to thank you Dr. John and his staff for being very professional and carrying at a hard time in my life.

The entire process from scheduling to the procedure was seamless. The scheduling was quick and convenient to our needs and availability. The entire staff was second to none from the first phone call until the end of the appointment. Everyone was very kind and respectful, with an added plus of a great sense of humor to put you at ease. I am so grateful for Dr. Northrup’s. I recently had surgery on my toes. This was the 3rd doctor I had seen regarding this surgery. The first Doctor said the procedure was to complex and referred me to another Dr. who was willing to do the surgery but gave me very little hope. Then I consulted Dr. Northrup. He thoroughly explained his plan for correcting my toes to alleviate my pain. He also gave me hope! I felt very confident going into surgery. He returns calls promptly and he has checked on me many times since the surgery. Lucy works in the front office. She is sweet and courteous and makes you feel very welcome. Went in today just to ask about making a appointment and told them I had a ingrown toenail they right away took me back Dr. came in looked at it gave me options and ended up removing toe nail. He was explaining everything the whole time was very caring and explained to me what the next step was. Even sent me over to his friend down south since I’m moving down there for follow up. This is the best podiatrist we have ever been to. He did surgery on my Mom's foot and has been awesome from start to finish, the staff are excellent. We are seen on time when we have a appointment. Durning the last 55 years I have had almost lost my foot and part of my leg do to Ostemolitis. I have been to MANY podiatry specialist with no relieve, I always had problems walking. Well Dr. Northrup removed the damaged bone and all the infection. And I am 71 yrs old and after a month I could walk without severe pain. That was in Sept. 2019. Then in end of Dec. 2019, I had a terrible bunion on my same foot. That was 2 weeks ago and it looks like a normal foot. In 4 weeks I should be able to wear shoes. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. NORTHRUP I respect him so much and wouldn't go to anyone else. God gave him a special talent and he made me feel so good again, as I said it has been rough all those years. I visited Dr. Northrup several weeks ago regarding foot pain. Dr. Northrup provided a comprehensive checkup on both feet. He explained the issues I was experiencing as well as my options. Update: I visited Dr. Northrup again for plantar fasciitis a month ago. We decided to do the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injection and immobilize my foot for a week. I followed his instructions and slowly eased back into my fitness schedule after a few weeks of limited movement. My foot is feeling SO much better! Thank you Dr. Northrup!

Fast friendly staff and very great care.

I have a crushing fracture of the big toe. I have been seeing Dr. N for over a month. The ER gave me an antibiotic that was not effective. Dr. n did a culture which quickly got rid of the infection. The problem with a crushing fracture an infection could start in the fracture itself which is hard to detect until it is a larger problem. Dr. N has had me take X-Rays 3 times to make sure there is no sign of infection as well as proscribe a new antibiotic specifically for a potential internal infection. When I leave the office he has always have given very clear instructions on cleaning the would bandaging, and level of activity I can do. I have been able to reach him by cell phone when necessary. Dr. Northrup is very knowledgeable and conscientious and has given me exceptional care.

My husband saw Dr. Northrup today for a foot injury. He was very personable and caring. I love how he sacrificed his time to fit my husband on his schedule at the last minute. I was very pleased with our first consultation today! I highly recommend him for any of your foot care needs!

I’ve been having foot pain (plantar fasciitis) off and on for 7 years. These past 6 months it hasn’t let up. He listened to my concerns and gave me different options. I felt like he understood what I’ve been dealing with and gave me a plan. He’s staff was super helpful since my sitter cancelled at the last minute.
I’ve been a Crossfitter for 7 years and appreciated that he is also. That’s why I chose his office. I saw it in his bio. I’ve been to two other Podiatrists and I felt like they didn’t understand what I was trying to get back into. He was super helpful in recommending I only do upper body workouts and take a break with my lower body. I would definitely recommend him. He gave me a shot and I felt immediate relief.
